At College Prep 365, our vision is to provide comprehensive and holistic support to students, empowering them to excel academically, personally, and socially. We believe that education is a lifelong journey, and we are committed to equipping students with the skills, knowledge, and mindset necessary for success in college and beyond. College readiness encompasses the academic, social, and emotional preparedness of students to succeed in higher education by possessing the necessary knowledge, skills, and mindset to navigate the challenges and opportunities of college life. It involves a holistic approach that equips students with academic competencies, critical thinking abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to adapt and thrive in diverse college environments.

for you or your student...

College planning involves the process of setting goals, exploring college options, and creating a strategic roadmap to guide students through the steps necessary to achieve their desired college education. It includes researching colleges, understanding admission requirements, preparing for standardized tests, seeking financial aid, and making informed decisions that align with students' academic and career aspirations.

College choice refers to the decision-making process in which students assess and select the college or university that best aligns with their academic goals, personal preferences, and future aspirations, taking into consideration factors such as academic programs, campus culture, location, financial considerations, and career opportunities.

"Dr. Mayo-Mitchell is super amazing. She has offered intentional support to my daughter not only in high school, but through her collegiate years as well. Dr. Mayo-Mitchell is the queen of seeking scholarships that are aligned to my daughter's academic and social profile. Every scholarship that Dr. Mayo-Mitchell provided to her, she offered sound support. During the college admission process my daughter was offered several full ride scholarships to schools and I of course wanted her to select one of those. Dr. Ebonee quickly advocated for my daughter reminding me that we will continue to apply for scholarships so she could attend her number one choice. My daughter earned 14 scholarships and all thanks to the good Doc."

I am available for group presentations on the changing higher education landscape and the specifics of the college selection and application process. I love exploring college admissions and helping you understand what you can do to support your student through this family journey.

It is important to note that I adhere strictly to the ethical guidelines of the professional organizations to which I belong. I cannot guarantee admission to any institution, nor do I have any financial arrangements with colleges for placement of students. I do not write essays for students; I help them find their voice and guide them in the development of their essays.

The only person who can get a student into college is that student! But, along the way, I will be there to advise, educate, advocate for and support my students as they find the best fits for their academic and social needs.
